Our client, a childcare catering company, is searching for a Receiving and Inventory Control Supervisor in Markham. The Receiving and Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and picking of all raw materials required for production. This role ensures inventory accuracy and availability to support daily operations and production needs. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position will lead the Receiving Department and work closely with the Production team. Key responsibilities include maintaining optimal inventory levels, staging and recording returns or losses, and leveraging the ERP system to prepare daily consumption reports and purchase order receipts. This role also includes developing and managing relationships with suppliers, sourcing new vendors for menu items, and continuously seeking cost-effective purchasing options for both food and non-food items. Our client is searching for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist. This position is responsible for processing a weekly payroll for approximately 150 salaried positions and supervising the administration of payroll for 1300 hourly employees. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is also responsible for the development and maintenance of the payroll and Workforce Management (WFM) modules within the Human Capital Management system (HCM), and administration and reporting of the pension and benefits programs.
